Choo Choo Charlie - A magic classic, by Edwin of Supreme fame. This is the 1992 version by Edwin's Magic Arts

A wonderful children's routine, colorful, strong and engaging; with beautiful props, a fantastic plot and a DOUBLE-WHAMMY CLIMAX

All aboard for Choo-Choo Charlie! Charlie is a cute little steam engine who works at an amusement park! All day long, he gives the children rides, but only the station master knows his secret - he is a magic train.

At the commencement of the effect, Charlie is hiding inside the 'station' - a large (approx. 12 inch x 15 inch) folder. The artwork is absolutely first-class. The interior of the folder is plain blue. The station is opened up to reveal Charlie, who is bright green in colour. One day, the station master decided that Charlie was looking a little shabby, and ordered him to go back to the station to be painted. The children are asked to make train noises and a member of the audience can be recruited to play the part of the station master! Charlie blows his whistle twice, and when he drives out of the station he has been transformed and is now bright yellow. It must be magic!

The children are not convinced and are sure that you merely turned the folder around! The fun and excitement builds as Charlie changes back and forth from yellow to green ! All the time, your audience keeps demanding that you show them the other side! After the usual fun business of turning the train upside-down, showing them the 'back' etc., Charlie is reversed to show a BRIGHT RED LOCOMOTIVE!
Wait a minute - what's inside the folder? There is a further surprise and more laughs, when the station folder drops open to reveal a large caricature of the STATION MASTER - MR. TIDYMAN HIMSELF!

The effect packs flat, re-sets in seconds and is always ready for performance.
