Kabuto Americas needed a store as precise as the helmets it sells, and a back office that runs itself.

What we built

Every page, custom built.

Design & theme build

A custom theme, built from scratch.

Kabuto’s theme started from Shopify’s blank starter and grew into 71 custom sections. The home page opens on a full-screen rider hero and a “Find your helmet” lineup where pointing at a livery swaps the helmet. Pit lane mega menus put every design, price and rider one hover away, and the whole store switches between dark and light mode.

  • 71 custom sections
  • “Find your helmet” lineup with livery previews
  • Pit lane mega menus and phone menu
  • Light and dark modes
  • 404 mini games and a branded gift card page

Product pages

Product pages that sell the engineering.

Each helmet page pairs a framed gallery and livery picker with what riders look for: certifications, readiness, a readable size guide and the nearest dealers. A sticky add to cart switches model, livery and size without leaving the page, and compatible shields are grouped by family with price and readiness.

  • Sticky add to cart with model, livery and size
  • Size guide with “Find your size”
  • “Try it on near you” dealer search
  • Compatible shields grouped by family
  • Pinlock® insert panel with setup videos
Helmet education

Built from Kabuto’s manuals.

Product pages teach as they sell. Sections drawn from Kabuto’s own manuals pull each helmet apart into every replaceable part, with an annotated anatomy, animated airflow, the Wake Stabilizer and the shield system. On the F-17, riders can even splash mud across a visor and tear the dirty layer off to see how tear-offs work.

  • “What is inside your helmet” exploded views
  • Annotated helmet anatomy
  • Animated airflow and visor angles
  • Interactive tear-off demo
  • COOLMAX® and emergency system guides

Cart & add-ons

Smarter checkout, bigger carts.

A pop-out cart drawer opens the moment a helmet is added, with a free-shipping bar for orders over $150, undo, discount savings and express checkout. A “Complete your setup” tray then offers the shields, Pinlock® inserts, tear-offs and parts that fit what’s in the cart, from rules Kabuto’s team edits in the theme editor. It never offers the shield already in the box.

  • Cart drawer that opens instantly
  • Custom shipping rules, free over $150
  • “Complete your setup” add-on tray
  • Upsell rules the team can edit
  • Helmet-count goal for B2B customers

Model landing pages

A page for every helmet.

The F-17, GEOSYS and Aeroblade-F each have a landing page with a sticky buy bar, every design grouped by style, the riders who wear it, a size and dealer finder, a specs table and an FAQ, all linked to each other and described for search engines.

  • Three model landing pages
  • Sticky buy bar
  • Every design, grouped by style
  • Specs, sizing and FAQ
  • Product list data for search

Interactive storytelling

Technology you can explore.

Kabuto’s engineering gets pages riders actually explore: an F-17 anatomy with eight hotspots on the Technology page, a “How Mips® works” demo that replays an angled impact, Pinlock® and FIM homologation pages, a history timeline with 22 milestones and a roster of 11 sponsored riders, each with a profile page.

  • Interactive F-17 anatomy
  • “How Mips® works” impact demo
  • Pinlock® and FIM pages
  • History timeline, 1948 to today
  • 11 rider profile pages

Dealer locator

Find a dealer in seconds.

A custom dealer locator searches 182 locations, from Kabuto’s authorized dealers to RevZilla, Cycle Gear and J&P Cycles stores, by ZIP, city or the rider’s current location. It shows distance and who’s open now, with a map, directions and shareable links. The same search sits on every helmet page as “Try it on near you,” and each search is recorded as a store analytics event.

  • 182 dealer locations
  • Search by ZIP, city or current location
  • Open now, distance and map views
  • Directions, call and share links
  • “Try it on near you” on helmet pages
Support & customer emails

Help that answers itself.

Contact, FAQ and policies became one customer-service system: topic cards that route each message to the right subject, 40 searchable questions in eight topics, and policies with the key facts up front. Ten customer emails, from order confirmation to the review request, were redesigned to match the store and go out automatically, and Judge.me reviews are built into product pages and the home page.

  • Contact hub with topic cards
  • 40-question searchable FAQ
  • Policies with key facts up front
  • 10 custom customer emails
  • Automated email flows
  • Judge.me reviews built in

Agentic Storefront & product data

Ready for AI shopping.

Structured data describes every page: the business and its return policy, page types, breadcrumbs, riders and every helmet’s variants, size chart, Pinlock® insert and readiness. WebMCP tools on five of the store’s forms let AI agents use them directly, and with the Agentic Storefront and product mapping, AI shopping assistants can understand, compare and sell Kabuto helmets.

  • Agentic Storefront
  • WebMCP tools for AI agents
  • Product data with every variant
  • Organization, return policy and breadcrumb data
  • Product mapping
Speed & quality

Fast, accessible, tested.

Each section loads only its own styles, which cut the stylesheet every page waits for from 186 KB to 18 KB. The cart drawer opens in about 17 milliseconds instead of 1.2 seconds on a throttled phone, Instagram media shrank from 143 MB to 32 MB, and an accessibility pass covered 21 pages in dark and light mode. Automated tests check the cart and every interactive section.

  • Shared stylesheet cut from 186 KB to 18 KB
  • Cart drawer opens in about 17 ms
  • Instagram media cut by 77%
  • Accessibility pass on 21 pages
  • Automated regression tests
